WASHINGTON (AP) — John Wall scored 30, Bradley Beal had 27 and Jeff Green added 20 as the Washington Wizards rallied from 24 points down to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 125-118 on Tuesday night.
Wall, Beal and Green each scored 10 in the fourth quarter as Washington outscored Los Angeles 39-23 to pull out the win.
The Clippers led by 24 midway through the second quarter, but the Wizards cut the lead to 95-86 after three quarters and took a 115-113 lead on Wall's layup with 2:33 to play.

Going into Wednesday, the Clippers were fourth in the rugged Western Conference at 8-5, with overtime wins against defending NBA champion Golden State and Milwaukee, as well as Oklahoma City and Houston (twice).

Kentucky point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the 11th pick of the NBA draft by Charlotte, who traded him to the Clippers on Thursday night. The Clippers had drafted forward Miles Bridges of Michigan State with the 12th overall pick and sent Bridges and two future second-round picks to the Hornets for Gilgeous-Alexander. LA also picked Boston College guard Jerome Robinson.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — After No. 21 Kentucky rallied to force overtime against Vanderbilt, guard Quade Green wasn't surprised he was able to split through two defenders to make the winning basket.
"I just saw an open layup," said Green, whose layup with five seconds left in overtime gave the Wildcats an 83-81 win over the Commodores on Tuesday night.
"I saw the big man was at the top of the key, so he wasn't guarding the row."
Texas A&M falls to 0-4 in SEC after No. 21 Kentucky slips away
LEXINGTON, Ky. - P.J. Washington made a steal that led to Kevin Knox's go-ahead layup with 2:28 left, then added four points down the stretch to help No. 21 Kentucky rally past Texas A&M 74-73 on Tuesday night.
Trailing 59-53 with 8:43 remaining, the Wildcats clawed back to tie the game three times before Washington stole a high pass and fed Knox for a 69-67 lead. Washington added a layup between two free throws for a 73-69 edge.
G Quade Green out for No. 21 Kentucky against Texas A&M
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky freshman Quade Green has been ruled out for its game against Texas A&M because of a back strain.
The No. 21 Wildcats announced Green's injury right before tipoff Tuesday night. The school says the point guard will be evaluated daily.
Fellow freshman Shai Gilgeous-Alexander replaced Green in the starting lineup against the Aggies.

NEW YORK (AP) — During a recent practice, Kentucky coach John Calipari noticed freshman guard Hamidou Diallo was pulling his hand back after launching jump shots.
