Max Hazzard had 13 points for UC Irvine (21-5, 9-1 Big West Conference). Jonathan Galloway added 13 rebounds. Eyassu Worku had seven assists for the home team.
Evan Leonard, whose 11 points per game heading into the contest was second on the Anteaters, scored 3 points. He shot 20 percent from 3-point range (1 of 5).
Stepteau, Hawaii lead 3-pt assault in win over Long Beach St
LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Brocke Stepteau scored 23 points with five 3-pointers and Zigmars Raimo scored 14 with 10 rebounds and Hawaii beat Long Beach State 77-70 on Thursday night.

Drammeh, Buggs help Hawaii beat UC Davis 80-60, snap skid
HONOLULU (AP) — Sheriff Drammeh hit 4 of 5 from 3-point range and finished with 18 points, Drew Buggs had 12 points and a career-high 12 assists, and Hawaii beat UC Davis 80-60 Saturday night to snap a two-game skid.
Zigmars Raimo scored 14 on 6-of-7 shooting and Dawson Carper had 13 points and five rebounds — both career highs — for Hawaii (12-7, 3-2 Big West Conference). Carper, a 7-foot freshman who came in with 16 points and 13 rebounds this season, made 6 of 8 from the field.

Elkaz with 25 points, UC Riverside edges Hawaii 75-71
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Freshman Dragan Elkaz scored a career-best 25 points on seven 3-pointers and UC Riverside picked up its first conference win, beating Hawaii 75-71 on Saturday night.
Dikymbe Martin added 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting for the Highlanders (7-13, 1-3 Big West Conference). Callum McRae had 12 points and five rebounds and Ajani Kennedy had eight points and five rebounds.
Drammeh leads Hawaii over Cal State Fullerton 79-68
HONOLULU (AP) — Sheriff Drammeh tied his career high with a season-high 23 points as Hawaii beat Cal State Fullerton 79-68 on Wednesday night.
The game marked the first Big West Conference matchup of the season for both teams.

Dawson propels CSU Northridge to 77-71 win over Hawaii
HONOLULU (AP) — Tavrion Dawson and Micheal Warren tossed in 22 points apiece and Cal State-Northridge shot 65 percent from the floor in a 77-71 victory over Hawaii on Saturday night.
Dawson knocked down 11 of 16 shots for the Matadors (6-19, 3-8 Big West Conference), who snapped a five-game losing streak. Warren hit 6 of 9 shots, including three 3-pointers, and all seven of his free throws. Terrell Gomez scored 16 and he and Warren combined to shoot 7 of 12 from long range.
Cal Poly rallies in 2nd half, beats Hawaii 78-64
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Donovan Fields scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half to help Cal Poly beat Hawaii 78-64 on Saturday night.
Cal Poly (8-15, 3-6 Big West Conference) has won two straight since snapping a six-game skid. Hawaii (13-8, 4-4) has lost three in row.

HONOLULU (AP) — Mike Thomas had 22 points and 11 rebounds — his second consecutive double-double — to help Hawaii overcome a poor-shooting performance and beat Cal Poly 57-45 on Wednesday night.
Sheriff Drammeh added 13 points, including three 3-pointers, for Hawaii (11-5, 2-1 Big West). The Rainbow Warriors tied their season low with 17 made field goals on 42 attempts (40.5 percent) and hit just 16-of-28 (57 percent) free throws.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Mike Thomas had 24 points and 11 rebounds and freshman Drew Buggs added 11 points, six rebounds and a career-high 11 assists to help Hawaii beat CSU Northridge 65-46 on Saturday night.

HONOLULU (AP) — Jack Purchase hit six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points — both season bests — to lead five Hawaii players in double figures and the Rainbow Warriors used a big second-half run to beat Howard 84-59 on Friday night.

HONOLULU (AP) — Mike Thomas and Drew Buggs scored 13 points apiece to help Hawaii pull away, after a slow start, to beat Division II Hawaii Hilo 82-64 on Saturday night.
Buggs, a redshirt freshman, has scored in double figures in each of the last three games after totaling 17 points in the first five games of the season. Sheriff Drammeh added 12 points, Jack Purchase scored 10 and Brocke Stepteau had nine points on 3-of-4 shooting from 3-point range for Hawaii (6-2).
LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Temidayo Yussuf made all nine of his field-goal attempts and finished with 23 points, Roschon Prince had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Long Beach State beat Hawaii 84-75 on Saturday night.
After Sheriff Drammeh's jumper brought Hawaii to within 65-64, Long Beach State (14-18, 9-7 Big West) went on a 16-4 run and led 81-68 on Prince's jumper with 1:53 remaining. The 49ers led 45-39 at halftime.
Nelson scores 29, UC Irvine cruises past Hawaii
HONOLULU (AP) — Luke Nelson had 16 of his season-high 29 points in the second half and UC Irvine cruised to a 72-58 win over Hawaii on Saturday night.
Nelson was 6 of 10 from 3-point range, Ioannis Dimakopoulos added 11 points and Jonathan Galloway grabbed 11 boards to go with four points. The Anteaters (15-12, 8-3 Big West) moved alone into second place in the conference standings, a half-game behind UC Davis (8-2).
Hawaii opens big lead, holds off UC Riverside 72-63
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Jack Purchase and Sheriff Drammeh scored 15 points apiece, Brocke Stepteau had 14 and Hawaii defeated UC Riverside 72-63 on Thursday night after losing most of a 20-point halftime lead.
Hawaii scored 19-straight points and closed the first half on a 25-1 run to lead 38-18. The Rainbow Warriors made 7 of 11 3-pointers and 15 of 27 shots overall in the first half while Riverside was 7 of 26 and 2 of 9.
Hawaii hits 9 3s in 1st half, beats Delaware State 77-66
HONOLULU (AP) — Jack Purchase made five 3-pointers and scored 21 points to help Hawaii beat Delaware State 77-66 on Thursday night.
Purchase made Hawaii's sixth 3-pointer of the first half with 9:38 left for a 24-19 lead and the Rainbow Warriors took their first double-digit lead with less than two minutes left on Ido Flaisher's putback. Hawaii had a 41-27 lead at the break after making 9 of 20 from beyond the arc.
Hawaii cruises to 64-44 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff
HONOLULU (AP) — Gibson Johnson scored 13 points to lead Hawaii to a 64-44 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday night.
Jack Purchase and Matthew Owies added 11 points apiece for Hawaii (4-3), which has won two of its last three games since a 15-point loss to then No. 5 North Carolina on Nov. 18. Larry Lewis Jr. had 10 points, and Sheriff Drammeh had five assists and chipped in nine points.

Allen has 24 as Hawaii defeats Hawaii Hilo 86-55
HONOLULU (AP) — Noah Allen had 16 of his career-high 24 in the first half and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Hawaii to an 86-55 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Tuesday night.
Allen finished 9 of 14 from the field with six 3-pointers. Sheriff Drammeh added 16 points, Gibson Johnson had 14 with eight rebounds and Brocke Stepteau had 11 with seven assists for the Rainbow Warriors (3-2).
Hawaii edges Florida Atlantic 64-63 in Rainbow Classic
HONOLULU (AP) — Gibson Johnson scored the game-winner with 6.3 seconds left to lead Hawaii to a 64-63 win over Florida Atlantic on Tuesday morning in the Rainbow Classic.
Johnson scored the final five points for Hawaii and finished with 13. Noah Allen led the Rainbow Warriors (2-1) with 15 points and 11 rebounds and Sheriff Drammeh added 13 points.
Ronald Delph led FAU (0-3) with a game-high 22 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Hawaii rallies in 2nd half, beats Texas State 74-68
HONOLULU (AP) — Sheriff Drammeh had 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists Sunday night and Hawaii erased a 14-point deficit to beat Texas State 74-68 in the second night of the Rainbow Classic.
Noah Allen's drive-and-feed to set up Gibson Johnson for an inside basket put Hawaii (1-1) in control with a five-point lead and 1:04 left. Jack Purchase added a pair of free throws that capped a 13-1 run at 71-64.
SIU Edwardsville slips past Hawaii 69-68
HONOLULU (AP) — Tre Harris had three 3-pointers and 13 points on Friday night and SIU Edwardsville survived a tight finish to beat Hawaii 69-68 in the season opener for both teams.
The Cougars were up by 11 in the middle of the second half but the Rainbow Warriors surged with a 16-4 run to lead 62-61 with 4:50 left. Neither team led by more than two the rest of the way.
Carlos Anderson scored the go-ahead point for SIU Edwardsville by making 1 of 2 from the foul line with 1:19 left.
