HOUSTON (AP) — Mauro Manotas had two goals and an assist and set a franchise record for goals in a calendar year, helping the Houston Dynamo snap a 10-game winless streak with a 4-1 victory over the Portland Timbers on Saturday night.
Manotas gave the Dynamo a 2-1 lead in the 39th minute, tapping in Alberth Elis' low cross. It was Manotas' 17th goal in all competitions this year.
Timbers get 1-1 road draw against Revolution
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Lawrence Olum tied it in the 70th minute and the Portland Timbers held on for a 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution on Saturday night.
Olum leveled it for Portland (11-7-8) with a right-footed stab at Julio Cascante's redirection of David Guzman's corner.
Real Salt Lake beats 10-man DC United 3-2
SANDY, Utah (AP) — Jefferson Savarino and Albert Rusnak each had a goal and an assist in Real Salt Lake's 3-2 victory over 10-man D.C. United on Saturday night.
D.C. United went down a man in the 22nd minute when Joseph Mora was initially shown a yellow card for a violent tackle, but was then sent off after video review.
Dockal’s 1st MLS goal lifts Union over DC United 3-2
CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — Borek Dockal scored the go-ahead goal in the 72nd minute, and the Philadelphia Union beat D.C. United 3-2 on Saturday.
Dockal blasted a right-footed shot from a narrow angle past goalkeeper Steve Clark, who reeled backward as the ball went above his head. It was Dockal's first career MLS goal and the Union (2-3-2) held on from there.
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Ulises Segura scored his first MLS goal and Steve Clark had a shutout in his first action of the season to help DC United beat the Columbus Crew 1-0 on Saturday night at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Segura side-netted a half-volley from the top of the box in the first minute. Lucian Acosta back-heeled it to Paul Arriola, who tapped it to Segura.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sebastian Blanco scored a pair of second-half goals to lead the Portland Timbers over D.C. United 4-0 on Sunday.
Near the end of the first half, Portland forward Darren Mattocks intercepted a weak backpass by defender Chris Korb, then was taken down by goalkeeper Steve Clark for a penalty. Diego Valeri knocked his shot past Clark and into the lower left corner of the net for his 21st goal. Valeri has scored in 10 of the last 11 games.
Neagle has late goal, assist, United beats Crew 3-0
WASHINGTON (AP) — Lloyd Sam opened the scoring in the 71st minute, Lamar Neagle had a late goal and assist, and D.C. United beat the Columbus Crew 3-0 on Wednesday night for their first two-game winning streak of the season.
D.C. United (9-9-13) remained in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, but moved just two points behind fourth-place Philadelphia. Columbus (7-12-11) is ninth.
Galaxy snap 6-game winless streak with 2-1 victory over Crew
CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Baggio Husidic and Giovani dos Santos scored second-half goals and the Los Angeles Galaxy snapped a six-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew on Saturday night.
The Galaxy (10-4-13) moved into a three-way tie with Colorado and Real Salt Lake for second place in the Western Conference. The Crew (5-10-11) have lost two straight.
Rookies Rosenberry, Herbers score, Union beats Crew 2-1
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Rookies Keegan Rosenberry and Fabian Herbers scored to help the Philadelphia Union beat the Columbus Crew 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Rosenberry gave the Union (10-9-7) a 2-1 lead in the 74th minute. Tranquillo Barnetta one-timed a feed to Rosenberry who trapped it with his right foot and blasted a left-footer through a pair of defenders and past goalkeeper Steve Clark.
Crew beat Revolution 2-0 to snap 10-game winless streak
FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) — Ethan Finlay and Federico Higuain scored and the Columbus Crew beat the New England Revolution on Saturday night to snap a 10-game winless streak.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Fabian Espindola scored in the 89th minute to give D.C. United a 1-1 tie with the Columbus Crew on Saturday night.
Espindola split three defenders to come up with a loose ball near the top of the box and slotted a low shot just beyond the fingertips of goalkeeper Steve Clark to tie it for United (5-7-7).
The Crew (3-7-9) played a man down after Harrison Afful received a red card for a studs-up challenge in the 74th.
