Gallinat was 10 of 12 from the free throw line for the Tigers (12-10, 2-5 West Coast Conference), who snapped a two-game skid. Jeremiah Bailey added 12 points and nine rebounds and Lafayette Dorsey had 11 points.

Stockton schools settle California discrimination claims
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — California has reached a settlement with the Stockton Unified School District over allegations that it discriminated against minority and disabled students.
The Department of Justice announced the agreement on Tuesday. It calls for the Central Valley district and school police to reform the way the district handles disciplinary problems with the aim of reducing arrests for minor misbehavior, such as students being disruptive in class.
California governor seeks to transform youth prisons
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Gov. Gavin Newsom proposed Tuesday to change the way California's juvenile prisons are overseen, eventually closing facilities to cut what he called the "ludicrous" cost.
"If we're going to get serious about changing the trajectory of the lives of these young children, I think we need to do it through a different lens and not the traditional corrections lens," Newsom said at one of the state's four remaining juvenile detention centers.

Abilene Christian has won three games in three days and is off to its best start since 1998.
