ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Trey Phills stole a pass and scored what proved to be the winning points with eight seconds left as Yale escaped with an 82-80 victory over Cornell on Friday night.
Betley hits 6 3s in Penn’s 79-71 win over Cornell
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Ryan Betley matched his career high with six 3-pointers in scoring 23 points, AJ Brodeur added 21 and Penn remained in first place in the Ivy League with a 79-71 victory over Cornell on Saturday night.
Cornell was within five with a minute to go but 7-of-12 shooting from the free-throw line, including five from Betley, was enough for Penn.
Morgan scores 31, Cornell beats Princeton 107-101 in 3OT
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored nine of his 31 points in triple-overtime and Cornell snapped a six-game losing skid against Princeton with a 107-101 victory on Friday night.
It was the first time in the 118-year history of the series where both teams scored more than 100 points each.
Oni leads Yale to 74-65 win over Cornell
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Miye Oni scored 19 points with six rebounds and six assists and Yale defeated Cornell 74-65 on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs (11-13, 4-4 Ivy League) had six other players score between six and 11 points.
Gettings has double-double, leads Cornell over Brown 78-60
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Stone Gettings had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Cornell rolled to 78-60 victory over Brown on Friday night.
Cornell (9-11, 3-4 Ivy League) has won three of its last four games while Brown (10-10, 3-4) has lost three of four.
Gettings was 10 of 15 from the field, added four assists and blocked three shots. Matt Morgan had 19 points and seven assists for the Big Red. Steven Julian chipped in 10 points.
Harvard scores late, pulls out a 76-73 win over Cornell
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Chris Lewis scored 17 points and Harvard came from four-points down in the final minutes to pull out a 76-73 win at Cornell in an Ivy League battle Saturday night.
The Crimson, the preseason Ivy League favorite, remains a game back of unbeaten conference leader Penn.
Stone Gettings hit two free throws with 4:43 to put the Big Red up by four, 66-62, but Lewis made two free throws and Danilo Djuricic hit a 3 with 3:09 left to put Harvard in front, 67-66.
Morgan, Davis help Cornell slip past Dartmouth, 86-85
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 17 of his 28 points in the final 8½ minutes and Joel Davis hit two free throws with 25 seconds left to help Cornell beat Dartmouth 86-85 on Friday night.
Davis finished with 16 points. Stone Gettings had 20 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Steven Julian added nine points and 10 rebounds for Cornell (8-10, 2-3 Ivy League).
Morgan scores 29, Cornell picks up first Ivy win, 82-81
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 29 points including the game-clinching free throws with three seconds left and Cornell beat Columbia 82-81 for its first Ivy League win Saturday.
An 8-0 surge gave Cornell a 69-64 lead with 5:24 to go and the Big Red clung to the lead with Morgan's free throws making it 82-78 before Gabe Stefanini hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Morgan had Cornell's last field goal with 4:50 left with the Big Red then making 11 of 12 free throws.
Penn defeats Cornell for 10th straight time, 69-61
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — AJ Brodeur scored 18 points with nine rebounds and six assists and Penn defeated Cornell 69-61 on Friday night, beating the Big Red for the 10th consecutive time.
Ryan Betley added 13 points and Darnell Foreman 12, including three free throws in the final minute for Penn (11-5, 1-1 Ivy League), which has won six of its last seven.
Morgan goes over 20 12th straight time, Cornell wins 93-69
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 21 points, his 12th straight game with at least 20, and Cornell defeated Central Penn 93-69 on Friday.
Morgan, who came in as the nation's third-leading scorer at 25.3 points per game, made only 3 of 9 from the arc but was 8 of 16 overall with six rebounds and four assists.
Allen, Daly lift Delaware past Cornell 97-96 in OT
NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Ryan Allen scored a career-high 24 points, Ryan Daly had 19, including four free throws in the final five seconds of overtime, and Delaware outlasted Cornell 97-96 on Thursday despite two players scoring more than 30 points for the Big Red.
Daly made two free throws for a 95-92 lead and after Matt Morgan made 1 of 2 for Cornell, Daly iced the game with 3 seconds left. Morgan hit a 3 at the buzzer.
Anthony Mosley added 18 points and Eric Carter had 15 for the Blue Hens (7-6).
Prochet provides winning points in Cornell’s 89-86 victory
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Kahlil Dukes and Matt Scott, the nation's leading scoring duo, combined for 49 points and Marvin Prochet scored Niagara's final four points in an 89-86 victory over Cornell on Saturday.
Prochet, who had 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists for his third double-double this season, made two free throws with 17 seconds left for an 87-83 lead. Cornell's Matt Morgan sank a 3-pointer but Prochet added a bucket with 10 seconds left and Morgan's final 3-point attempt rimmed out.
Morgan spearheads Cornell past Lafayette 80-71
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 26 points and Stone Gettings scored 13 with nine rebounds and Cornell downed Lafayette 80-71 on Wednesday night.
The Big Red led 45-35 at intermission before a 7-3 Lafayette run trimmed the deficit to five. Later, Josh Warren hit a jumper, Morgan had consecutive layups and a jumper, Joel Davis scored 10 straight points and Cornell was up 74-60. Lafayette didn't draw within single digits until 27 seconds remained.

FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 25 points and Stone Gettings added 11 points and eight rebounds to power Cornell to a 69-62 victory over Longwood on Saturday.
Morgan, Julian lead Cornell over Binghamton 94-84
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 26 points, Steven Julian added 10 points and 11 rebounds and Cornell beat Binghamton 94-84 on Monday night.
Morgan was 8 of 14 from the floor and made four 3-pointers. Julian, a freshman, was 3-of-5 shooting and had his first double-double. Stone Gettings made 10 of 10 free throws and finished with 16 points for the Big Red (1-1).
Thomas Bruce led Binghamton (1-1) with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Fard Muhammad added 18 points.
Cornell holds off Dartmouth’s late surge for 69-65 win
HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 28 points and Cornell held off Dartmouth's late surge for a 69-65 victory on Friday night.
Dartmouth had its last lead, 51-48, with about nine minutes left before the Big Red used a 17-6 run to take a 65-57 lead with 2:27 remaining. Robert Hatter scored six points and Morgan had four during the stretch.
Penn controls Cornell from the start in 82-63 win
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Ryan Betley scored a career-high 22 points on 5-for-10 shooting from 3-point range and Matt Howard finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Pennsylvania defeated Cornell 82-63 on Sunday for its second-straight win.
Penn (8-12, 1-6 Ivy League) built a 20-5 lead and was never challenged. Cornell shot 5 for 23 (21.7 percent) in the first half and committed 15 turnovers. The Quakers shot 16 for 29 (55 percent) before the break and led 42-14 at halftime.
Weisz, Princeton beat Cornell, extend win streak to 10 games
PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Spencer Weisz shot 8 of 14 from the field, including three 3-pointers, and finished with 21 points and seven rebounds to help Princeton hold on for a 69-60 win over Cornell on Friday night.
Weisz has scored at least 20 points in three of the last four games. Devin Cannady and Myles Stephens scored 14 points apiece for Princeton (14-6, 7-0 Ivy League), which has won 10 games in a row and remains atop the league standings — a half-game in front of Yale.
Morgan scores 22 points in Cornell’s win over Dartmouth
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Morgan scored 22 points and Cornell defeated Dartmouth 75-62 on Saturday night.
Wil Bathurst added 16 points, Stone Gettings 15 and Troy Whiteside 11 for the Big Red (6-13, 2-2 Ivy).
Evan Boudreaux scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season for the Big Green (3-14, 0-4).
Harvard rallies for 5th straight win, 77-71 over Cornell
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Bryce Aiken had 16 of his 21 points in the second half and Harvard rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat Cornell 77-71 on Friday night.
Justin Bassey's 3-pointer with 51 seconds left gave Harvard the lead for good at 72-71 and sparked a 7-0 run to end the game.
Corey Johnson added 17 points and Bassey scored 16 for the Crimson (11-5, 3-0 Ivy League), who won their fifth straight and 10th of the last 11.
Petrasek’s 31 helps Columbia top Cornell 79-75 in Ivy opener
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) — Luke Petrasek scored a career-high 31 points as Columbia defeated Cornell 79-75 in an Ivy League opener on Saturday.
Petrasek shot 11-for-14 from the floor and was a perfect 7-for-7 at the free throw line, including two with four seconds left that pushed the Lions' lead to three points.
Mike Smith scored 17 points and Nate Hickman 15 for the Lions (7-7, 1-0), who've won three straight. Jeff Coby grabbed 10 rebounds.
No. 23 USC stays unbeaten with a 79-67 win over Cornell
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California coach Andy Enfield can hardly believe his team is still undefeated.
Chimezie Metu scored 17 points and Jordan McLaughlin had 16 points and nine assists to help No. 23 USC shake off another slow start with a 79-67 victory over Cornell on Monday night.
"We have a long way to go," Enfield said. "We have to get better. Honestly, I have no idea how we're 11-0."
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Hayden Dalton scored 21 of his career-high 27 points in the first half, Louis Adams had 15 of his career-best 24 in the second and Wyoming rolled to a 97-78 win over Cornell on Saturday night.
Wright makes 8 3-pointers; Cornell beats Lafayette 82-75
EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Donovan Wright made eight 3-pointers, one off the school record, and scored 26 points to lead Cornell to an 82-75 victory over Lafayette on Sunday.
The victory for the Big Red (1-3), was the first collegiate head-coaching win for Brian Earl. He was the 1999 Ivy League Player of the Year at Princeton and an assistant and associate head coach at his alma mater before coming to Cornell.
