The Colorado goalie made 24 saves, Gabriel Landeskog scored his team-leading 30th goal and the Avalanche ended their season-high eight-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

BOSTON (AP) — The Colorado Avalanche are heading into their home opener feeling pretty good.
Another win in Boston certainly helped.
Semyon Varlamov stopped 29 shots, Nail Yakupov scored two goals and the Colorado Avalanche continued their recent success in Boston with a 4-0 win over the Bruins on Monday.
Sven Andrighetto and J.T. Compher scored first-period goals for the Avalanche, who improved to 11-0-0-1 in their past 12 games in Boston since the most recent loss on March 30, 1998.
Avalanche agree to 2-year deal with Sven Andrighetto
DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Avalanche have agreed to a two-year deal with Swiss forward Sven Andrighetto.
Andrighetto had five goals and 11 assists for the Avalanche after being acquired in a trade with Montreal on March 1.
The 24-year-old Andrighetto was a third-round pick by Montreal in the 2013 draft. He bounced between the Canadiens and the American Hockey League's St. John's IceCaps before being dealt to the Avalanche, where he led the team in scoring for March.

That's the feeling of the Colorado Avalanche general manager and why he didn't make any major moves at the trade deadline Wednesday except dealing Jarome Iginla to Los Angeles for possibly one last playoff push.
After all the trade rumors, captain Gabriel Landeskog and forward Matt Duchene remain with the Avalanche — for now, anyway. The offseason may bring a different tune.
