NEW YORK (AP) — Broadway shows including "Jersey Boys" and "Avenue Q" were resuming Sunday after manhole fires spurred the evacuation of a theater complex while performances were under way Saturday night.
Three windows in the New World Stages complex cracked near the manhole blast and were being replaced Sunday, and all its shows were set to play as scheduled, according to a representative for the company that runs the complex.

NEW YORK (AP) — A series of manhole fires in midtown Manhattan on Saturday forced the evacuation of a theater complex where performances of plays including "Jersey Boys" and "Avenue Q" were underway.
No injuries were reported from the manhole fires at around 8 p.m. at West 50th Street near Eighth Avenue.
But a representative for the theater complex New World Stages said patrons were evacuated as a precaution.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A jury has found the Children's Theatre Company to be negligent in the sexual abuse of a minor in a case dating back to the 1980s.
However, the jury in Hennepin County found the theater was not liable for damages because it did not directly cause the assault of Laura Stearns. Instead, the jury returned a $3.68 million verdict against former teacher Jason McLean on Thursday.

The singer-songwriter has allowed songs from her 1995 breakthrough album "Jagged Little Pill" to be used in a new musical and producers plan to land it on Broadway this fall. "You Oughta Know" was a song on that Grammy-winning album.
"Jagged Little Pill" played the American Repertory Theater last summer. It's directed by Diane Paulus and has an original story by Diablo Cody, who wrote "Juno."
