PARIS (AP) — Striker Keita Balde set up both goals as Monaco won at local rival Nice 2-1 to reach the French League Cup semifinals on Tuesday.
Both sides were missing their top scorers: Mario Balotelli for Nice and Radamel Falcao for Monaco.
Balde set up attacking midfielder Thomas Lemar for a close-range header as Monaco took the lead in the third minute. The impressive Lemar had a goal disallowed for offside 10 minutes later.

The French Football Federation says Coman, who plays for Bayern Munich, has hurt his left knee and left ankle.
The 20-year-old Lemar has done well for second-place Monaco this season, scoring four league goals and one in the Champions League.

PARIS (AP) — After two seasons of misery in England's Premier League, striker Radamel Falcao is proving his worth again in France.
His first-half goal helped league leader Monaco on its way to a 3-0 home win against Rennes on Saturday.
Falcao pounced with a firm downward header from midfielder Adama Traore's cross in the 42nd minute. He ran out of steam and was replaced with about 15 minutes left by Guido Carrillo, but he had done his bit by then.
