DENVER (AP) — Four-time All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado asked for $30 million in salary arbitration Friday, while the Colorado Rockies offered $24 million.
Arenado, who has won six straight Gold Glove Awards and four consecutive Silver Slugger Awards, made $17.85 million last year.

Edwards had a 5.14 ERA in 11 September appearances. He walked 12 in seven innings.
Manager Joe Maddon said Edwards also is dealing with a forearm strain.

German Marquez pitched into the sixth inning, Gerardo Parra hit a three-run homer and the Rockies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 8-4 on Sunday.
Parra finished with three hits as the Rockies won a series for the 12th time this season. They have dropped two and split two others.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Jose Berrios allowed two hits and struck out 11 over 7 2/3 innings as the Minnesota Twins beat the Colorado Rockies 2-0 on Thursday night, salvaging a split of an interleague doubleheader between the first-place teams in the AL Central and NL West.
The Twins scored just three runs in the doubleheader, but Berrios (2-0) made his scant support in the nightcap hold up with the best outing of his young career.
SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have placed catcher Tony Wolters on the seven-day concussion disabled list.
He was hurt in the seventh inning Tuesday night when he got hit in the helmet by Hector Sanchez's backswing. He departed a few pitches later.

DENVER (AP) — Jerad Eickhoff was rolling along until he gave up a home run to the opposing pitcher.
Things went downhill from there for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Colorado pitcher Tyler Anderson crushed a home run off Eickhoff and the Rockies went on to beat the Phillies 8-3 Saturday night.
"In every game here every pitch is critical," Eickhoff said. "It requires all your ability to pitch here."
DENVER (AP) — Rockies catcher Tony Wolters knew pitcher Tyler Anderson could grind through an outing without his best stuff.
He was more amazed with the 26-year-old's power at the plate.
Anderson homered and earned his first big league win as Colorado beat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-3 Saturday night.
"I didn't think that thing was a home run," Wolters laughed. "I didn't know he had muscles like that."
