George Michael’s art collection up for auction at Christie’s
LONDON (AP) — George Michael left a rich legacy of music — and of visual art.
The musician's collection of works by some of Britain's most famous contemporary artists is going up for auction in London next month, auctioneer Christie's announced Friday.
The sale includes pieces by Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Sarah Lucas and other members of the "Young British Artists" generation who, like Michael, shook up Britain's creative scene in the 1980s and 90s.
LONDON (AP) — Artist Tracey Emin is addressing Brexit with her latest public artwork, suspended from the ceiling of London's St. Pancras Station.
The 20-meter (65-foot) neon-pink message reading "I want my time with you" was unveiled Tuesday at the station, terminus for Eurostar trains between London and continental Europe.

Goat, bed among works in major Robert Rauschenberg show
LONDON (AP) — Paintings, prints, sculptures and a taxidermy goat are on display in the first posthumous retrospective devoted to pop-art pioneer Robert Rauschenberg.
The American artist, who died in 2008 aged 82, was a painter, printmaker, sculptor and choreographer. His use of everyday objects and mass-market imagery was hugely influential.
