Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith to visit New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Tracy K. Smith, the nation's poet laureate, is going to be honored in New Hampshire.
She'll be receiving the Hall-Kenyon Prize in American Poetry on Dec. 12 at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester.
The award honors the late Donald Hall and Jane Kenyon, married poets who lived and wrote at Hall's ancestral home in Wilmot, New Hampshire.

Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announced Thursday that Smith has been reappointed for 2018-2019.
The library said that Smith would continue her focus on bringing poetry to rural communities.
