Saints a revenge game for Vikings fans; players not so much
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — For fans of the Minnesota Vikings, at least the ones old enough to drive, there's a score to be settled with the New Orleans Saints.
Eight years ago, the last Minnesota team considered a strong Super Bowl contender was on the verge of victory in New Orleans in the NFC championship game despite four earlier turnovers inside the raucous Superdome.

CHICAGO BEARS (3-13)
OPEN CAMP: July 26, Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois.
LAST YEAR: Injuries and poor play doomed Bears to worst season in decades. Chicago posted lowest win total in non-strike year since 1973 team went 3-11, and most losses since 1969. Bears also missed playoffs for ninth time in 10 seasons. Chicago had 19 players finish season on injured reserve, which exposed team's lack of depth.
Chicago Bears waive DB Tracy Porter
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have waived cornerback Tracy Porter.
A nine-year veteran, Porter led the club with 35 pass breakups over two seasons with the Bears. He had 13 breakups and two interceptions to go with 48 tackles last season.
The move announced Monday is the latest in an overhaul of the secondary. Chicago signed cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper in free agency.
Bears’ Floyd doubtful for finale at Vikings with concussion
CHICAGO (AP) — Linebacker Leonard Floyd will likely miss the Chicago Bears' season finale at Minnesota on Sunday because of a concussion.
Floyd was listed as doubtful after sitting out practice all week. He was injured in Saturday's loss to Washington.
The No. 9 overall draft pick, Floyd is tied for second among NFL rookies with seven sacks.
Pernell back at LB, TE Miller active for Bears vs Packers
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have Pernell McPhee back at linebacker Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.
McPhee was activated from the reserve-physically unable to perform list after he recovered from offseason knee surgery. He had a career-high 64 tackles last season for the Bears.

Bortles hits Benn for 51-yard TD, Jaguars beat Bears 17-16
CHICAGO (AP) — Arrelious Benn went five years between touchdowns. Once he finally scored, he sure made it count.
Blake Bortles threw for 271 yards, and a slipping Benn caught a 51-yard touchdown in the closing minutes, lifting the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 17-16 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
The Jaguars (2-3) wiped out a 13-0 deficit in the fourth quarter in a matchup of last-place teams. And the go-ahead touchdown might have been helped by the oft-criticized turf at Soldier Field.
