DETROIT (AP) — For the second straight game, the Detroit Pistons had a big third-quarter lead at home.
This time, they kept pouring it on.
Andre Drummond scored 14 of his season-high 27 points in the third and the Pistons snapped Denver's six-game winning streak, beating the Nuggets 129-103 on Monday night.
Murray, Jokic lead Nuggets past Cavs 124-102
DENVER (AP) — Nikola Jokic likes the way the Denver Nuggets have bounced back from their worst loss of the season.
Jokic had 19 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in his sixth triple-double this season, and the Nuggets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-102 on Saturday night. Jamal Murray scored 26 points as Denver won for the third time in four games, though the lone blemish in that span was a 31-point loss to Golden State earlier this week.
Jokic’s 4th triple-double leads Nuggets past Heat 103-99
MIAMI (AP) — Nikola Jokic had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his fourth triple-double of the season, and his basket with 2.4 seconds left put the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets ahead to stay in their 103-99 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.
Jamal Murray had 18 points, Trey Lyles added 15, Paul Millsap had 12 and Torrey Craig finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds for the Nuggets.

MIAMI (AP) — Nikola Jokic's numbers were big, as usual.
And his shooting touch at the end was perfectly soft.
Jokic had his fourth triple-double of the season — 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists — and his high-arching shot in the lane with 2.4 seconds left lifted the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets to a 103-99 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.
Lyles scores season-high 22 as Nuggets beat Magic, 112-87
DENVER (AP) — Mason Plumlee does a little of everything for Denver — including a pretty good Nikola Jokic impersonation.
Plumlee had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and wowed the home crowd with his Jokic-like, no-look pass to Trey Lyles in the Nuggets' 112-87 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday night.
Plumlee had four assists, the most impressive coming when he flipped a pass over his right shoulder to a cutting Lyles for a layup.
Nuggets’ Barton has surgery on hip muscle injury
DENVER (AP) — Nuggets forward Will Barton underwent surgery to fix core and hip muscle injuries.
He will be re-evaluated in six weeks, the team announced Tuesday. The surgery was performed by Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia.
Barton was carted off the floor Saturday night after he said he felt something pop when he took off for the basket in the third quarter against Phoenix. He had an MRI on Sunday and missed the Golden State game that night.

TORONTO (AP) — As the losses pile up and a playoff berth slips further out of reach, Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone is bewildered by his team's lack of urgency.
DeMar DeRozan, Jonas Valanciunas, and Fred VanVleet each scored 15 points and the Toronto Raptors beat the Nuggets 114-110 on Tuesday night.
Nikola Jokic had 29 points and 16 rebounds, and Paul Millsap scored 20 points for the Nuggets, who lost their second straight and fourth of six.
Harris scores 23 points, Nuggets beat Knicks 130-118
DENVER (AP) — Gary Harris gave his bruised right foot a final test during pregame warmups and determined it was good enough to go.
Then he proved it.
Harris scored 23 points, Trey Lyles had 21 and the Denver Nuggets beat the New York Knicks 130-118 on Thursday night.
"I felt good right before the game so I went out there and gave it a go," said Harris, who tweaked the foot last Friday against Phoenix and aggravated the injury Monday night against Portland.
Barton scores 17 points in Nuggets’ 87-78 win over Grizzlies
DENVER (AP) — Missing their top scorer, the Denver Nuggets leaned on their defense to end a three-game losing streak.
Will Barton scored 17 points, Trey Lyles had 16 and the Nuggets overcame a slow start to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 87-78 on Friday night.
Denver took control of the game by holding Memphis to 13 points in the third quarter, and the Grizzlies finished with a season low in scoring by a Nuggets opponent.
Lyle scores career-high 26 as Nuggets beat Jazz 99-91
DENVER (AP) — Trey Lyles was considered expendable by Utah on draft night in June. He did his best to show the Jazz it was a mistake to let him go.
Lyles scored a career-high 26 points, Jamal Murray also had 26 points and the Denver Nuggets beat Utah 99-91 on Friday night.
Lyles also grabbed seven rebounds. He averaged 21 points and 7.5 rebounds in the two home games against his former team to help the Nuggets split the season series with the Jazz.
Gary Harris scores 36 points, Nuggets beat Suns 134-111
DENVER (AP) — The Phoenix Suns didn't get to Denver until around 2 p.m. Wednesday because of plane trouble.
They can thank Gary Harris for making their trip even more unbearable.
Harris scored 28 of his 36 points in the first half and the Nuggets used a big third quarter to beat Phoenix 134-111 on Wednesday night.
Nuggets beat Kings 114-98 without coach and 2 starters
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Will Barton didn't know Mike Malone was suspended by the NBA until the Denver Nuggets coach informed him as Barton got on the team bus to head to the arena.
"I thought he was joking," Barton said. "I told him we'd hold it down for him."
Minus their coach and two starters, the short-handed Nuggets did just that — and only 24 hours after losing by 21 points to begin their three-game road trip.

DENVER (AP) — The Denver Nuggets agreed to a multi-year deal Thursday with rookie Tyler Lydon.
The forward from Syracuse University was acquired on draft night as part of a deal with Utah that also included forward Trey Lyles. The Nuggets sent the 13th pick to the Jazz.
Lydon, selected with the 24th overall pick, averaged 13.2 points and a team-high 8.6 rebounds last season for Syracuse. He helped the Orange reach the Final Four during his freshman season.
Nuggets acquire Tyler Lydon in draft-day trade with Jazz
DENVER (AP) — Trading down in the first round with Utah, the Denver Nuggets acquired Syracuse forward Tyler Lydon with the 24th pick in the NBA draft Thursday night and added veteran forward Trey Lyles from the Jazz.
The Nuggets entered the draft with the No. 13 overall pick, using it to select Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell, whose rights were then traded to Utah in return for the Jazz's No. 24 pick and Lyles, who was the 12th overall pick out of Kentucky two years ago.

Marc Gasol scores 22 points, Grizzlies beat Jazz 102-96
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Even as the Memphis Grizzlies transition under first-year coach David Fizdale, the old guard of Marc Gasol, Mike Conley and Zach Randolph is still leading the way.
Gasol scored a season-high 22 points and the Grizzlies beat the Utah Jazz 102-96 on Monday night.
"I feel like this is the best four quarters we've put together," Fizdale said. "Guys, they want to win. They really want this and we've worked really hard over the past couple days to clean things up."
Kyrie Irving scored a season-high 32 points as the reigning NBA champion Cavaliers remained undefeated by beating the Rockets, 128-120, Tuesday night at Cleveland.
James Harden scored a season-high 41 points and had 15 assists for Houston.
Kevin Love scored 24 points while LeBron James added 19 points and 13 rebounds as Cleveland placed six players in double figures. The Cavaliers are 4-0 for the first time in 16 years.
Jazz’s 3-point shooting does in Spurs, 106-91
SAN ANTONIO (AP) — George Hill had 22 points and the Utah Jazz made a season-high 15 3-pointers, handing the San Antonio Spurs their first loss of the season 106-91 on Tuesday night.
Rodney Hood had 19 points, Trey Lyles 15 and Shelvin Mack 14 for Utah, which finished 15 for 31 from 3-point range.
Kawhi Leonard led San Antonio with 30 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 21.
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz announced Monday that they have exercised their third-year team option for forward Trey Lyles, as well as their fourth-year options on guards Danté Exum and Rodney Hood. The options for all three players are for the 2017-18 season. Per team policy, financial terms were not released, though the third-year option for Lyles is reportedly over $2.4 million, Hood's is nearly $2.4 million, and Exum's is nearly $5 million.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Jazz have picked up the team option on the contracts of Rodney Hood, Dante Exum and Trey Lyles.
The moves announced Monday keep the youngest part of the team's core on their rookie deals through the 2017-18 season.
Hood was the No. 23 overall pick in 2014 and has developed into the Jazz's second-best scorer after Gordon Hayward. His points per game jumped from 8.7 as a rookie to 14.5 last season.
