Kitayama moved to 14-under-par overall and ahead of co-overnight leader Chikkarangappa S (68), who was alone in second.
Victor Perez (69), who shared the lead with Chikkarangappa after the first round, was tied for third, with fellow Frenchman Matthieu Pavon (66) a shot further back on 11 under.

Perez and Chikkarangappa S. are the co-leaders on the second weekend of the tour's 2019 season.
Perez finished in a tie for third at the season-opening Hong Kong Open last weekend after graduating from the Challenge Tour.

The Frenchman had four birdies to take the lead before the turn, and a six-footer on the 15th hole moved him two ahead. But a bogey on the next hole left the 28-year-old Gros just one ahead of Jorge Campillo, Scott Jamieson, Aaron Rai and Henric Sturehed.
