BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Cornerback Vontae Davis says the opportunity to play in a talented young secondary is what eventually drew him to sign a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.

Colts release Vontae Davis after publicly airing complaints
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — One day after Vontae Davis complained publicly about how the Indianapolis Colts handled his demotion, his locker was empty and the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback was gone.
After 5½ seasons in Indy, it was over just that fast.

Way We Hear It: Indianapolis Colts send clear, firm message with roster moves
The Indianapolis Colts have pared down their roster to the league-mandated 53 players, per NFL rules. But you might want to print off a hard copy and save it — we expect the roster to continue to change, perhaps even dramatically, as this season goes on.
That would fall in line with what new general manager Chris Ballard appears to be indicating with some of the moves that helped get the team to 53 in the first place. In short: Few are safe.
