With Will Compton joining the Tennessee Titans, the former Washington Redskins linebacker wanted to make it clear the decision wasn't easy.

Compton spent five seasons with the Redskins, latching on as an undrafted free agent. He developed and eventually became a starter.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with linebacker Will Compton, who spent the last five seasons with the Washington Redskins.
The Titans announced the deal Monday. Compton made three starts and played in just nine games for the Redskins last year because of a foot injury, but he had 104 tackles as a defensive captain in 2016.
The 28-year-old is listed as 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds.

ASHBURN, Virginia Washington Redskins linebacker Mason Foster will undergo shoulder surgery and be placed on injured reserve, coach Jay Gruden announced Friday.
Foster has a torn labrum and opted for surgery because the pain has become unbearable. The linebacker initially dislocated his shoulder in a Week 2 win against the Los Angeles Rams.
Chiefs’ Fisher, 6 banged-up Redskins active Monday night
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher was active for Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins after he was questionable with a back injury that caused him to miss a pair of practices.
The Chiefs were without linebacker Dee Ford, who had been ruled out with a back injury, and center Mitch Morse, who missed his second straight game with a foot sprain.
The Redskins listed six players as questionable and all were active Monday night.

The team announced the deal Monday. Brown made the Pro Bowl last season playing for the Buffalo Bills when he had 149 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
Brown, 27, has 410 tackles in five NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans and Bills. He missed most of the 2014 season with a torn pectoral muscle and was a part-time player the next year before revitalizing his career in Buffalo.
