William Lee added 20 points and six rebounds for No. 6 seed UAB (20-12) which advances to the quarterfinals to meet third-seeded Western Kentucky on Thursday night. Chris Cokley had 15 points and 10 rebounds.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Nate Darling scored 23 points to lead six players in double-figure scoring and UAB upended Western Kentucky 101-73 on Saturday night in a regular season finale.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Chris Cokley had 15 points and nine rebounds and UAB rallied from nine down with less than four minutes to go for a 61-56 win on Saturday night.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Chris Cokley had a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds, with William Lee and Deion Lavender each adding 11 points as UAB downed Charlotte 76-64 on Thursday night.
Lewis Sullivan scored 10 for the Blazers (15-8, 6-4 Conference USA) as they pulled away in the second half against the 49ers (5-15, 1-7). The win was UAB's fifth straight against the 49ers.
