OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Klay Thompson will be thrilled with the winning shot any way it comes.

Cauley-Stein scores 23 as Kings beat Jazz 119-110
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — After all but the last couple of Sacramento Kings had exited the locker room, coach Dave Joerger stood in the doorway and couldn't stop smiling as his center walked toward him.
"That was one hell of game, Willie Cauley-Stein," Joerger said. "Yes, one hell of a game."
Cauley-Stein had faced the NBA's reigning defensive player of year, Rudy Gobert, and didn't flinch. He just nodded at his coach as if it were no big deal.
Kings hold on to end 14-game losing streak to Spurs
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Ending a 14-game losing streak that spanned nearly four years to the San Antonio Spurs didn't mean as much to Sacramento as finishing its quick four-game homestand with an even record.
It's understandable, since many of these young Kings were still in high school the last time Sacramento beat the Spurs.
Kings come on strong late to beat Timberwolves 121-110
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Kings coach Dave Joerger didn't like most of what he saw from his team in the first half against Minnesota.

Yet the faces down are glaring: NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant, two-time MVP Stephen Curry and his Splash Brother, Klay Thompson.

Kings’ Hill ready to lead young players as he did in Utah
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Veteran point guard George Hill learned last season in Utah how to be a positive example for a young team, and now he is on one of the NBA's most youthful rosters with Sacramento.
"Patience," he said of his biggest gain from that experience.
As Dave Joerger begins his second season as coach in the state capital trying to end an 11-year playoff drought, he is counting on any and all leadership voices, age not an issue.
