Adam Germano pleaded guilty in October to conspiring to distribute and to distributing meth from Las Vegas to Worcester. One shipment intercepted in January 2017 contained more than two kilograms (four pounds) of meth.

WELLS, Maine (AP) — Law enforcement officials say a Massachusetts driver died hours after being ejected from an SUV that hit a guardrail and flipped on Interstate 95 in Maine.
State police said the vehicle operated by 46-year-old Con Van Huynh of Worcester, Massachusetts, ended up on its roof Monday afternoon. He was found nearby.
Huynh died Monday night at Maine Medical Center in Portland. State Police say Huynh was in the process of moving to Biddeford.
Animal rights activists to rally for release of 3 elephants
WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Animal rights activists are planning to gather outside Worcester's DCU Center to call for the release of three elephants held at a Connecticut-based petting zoo.
The Nonhuman Rights Project argues the wild-born elephants — Beulah, Karen, and Minnie — should be moved from the Commerford Zoo to a natural habitat sanctuary. The group is pursuing a lawsuit that would grant the animals "personhood."
A Connecticut judge has rejected the argument but the group is appealing.
