INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — First-round choice Quenton Nelson is one of nine draft picks who have signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Former Syracuse quarterback Zack Mahoney has signed as a free agent with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
The Blue Bombers announced the move on Friday.

Syracuse inks 15 players in early signing period
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse coach Dino Babers reached deep into Florida for four players and also inked four from New York as the Orange strive to become more competitive in the Atlantic Coast Conference's tough Atlantic Division.
Syracuse's early class of 15 players was ranked 44th by 247sports.com, putting the Orange on pace for their best showing in the past decade. Still, it was behind six other ACC schools, half of them in the Atlantic Division.
Syracuse closes season against old foe Boston College
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse coach Dino Babers is facing Senior Day on Saturday with a lot of pent-up emotion on his mind because he'll be losing several key players to graduation and the Orange won't be playing in the postseason.
SYRACUSE -- Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney made quite the impression on the Syracuse team following the Orange’s 27-24 victory over the second-ranked Tigers.
During the postgame meeting between the two coaches, Swinney told Syracuse head coach Dino Babers numerous times, “I’m so happy for you.”
But Swinney didn’t stop there.
Before he met with his players, Swinney made a stop by the Syracuse locker room to congratulate the Syracuse team on their historic victory.

CLEMSON — The cameras likely did not catch it and Dabo Swinney did not say a word about it himself.
But when it was all said and done Saturday night, Clemson's head coach weaved his way through the Carrier Dome, sought out the Syracuse locker room and walked in. He wanted to congratulate the Orange players first hand. Despite his No. 2 Clemson team losing 27-24 and despite it being close to midnight before the Tigers boarded a plane home, Swinney made it a priority to make one final pit stop.
