Blu Moon Bistro to stay in the family
Blu Moon Bistro has new ownership, but this downtown Ludington fusion-flavor restaurant is staying in the family.
Marilyn Carey has officially transferred ownership of the restaurant to her daughter and son-in-law, Jordan and Jason Munford, who have been involved with the business since its early days. Jason is the head chef, runs the kitchen and develops Blu Moon’s unique menu, and Jordan manages the wait staff, balances the books and other front-of-house operations.
“I think this has always been a natural transition that would happen eventually when you have a family business,” Jordan said of the restaurant at 125 S. James St. “We look forward to many more years here in Ludington.”
