Stabbing reported at Anacapa Apartments; one victim hospitalized
Sergeant Tom Gray of the Lake Havasu City Police Department confirmed “no arrests have been made at this time, however the investigation is still ongoing.”
The victim that was transported to the hospital is female and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“There is no threat to the community and the scene has been made safe,” Gray confirmed.
Earlier: Havasu police confirmed there was a knife involved, and the stabbing is suspected to have started from a domestic issue. No suspects are currently in custody.
The reported stabbing occurred at Anacapa Apartments, located at 1206 Anacapa Drive. Initial reports indicated a multiple stabbing, and one patient has been transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Havasu police are responding to reports of a possible stabbing involving multiple victims. According to emergency scanner reports, the incident happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Anacapa Drive.
