Wade Avenue in Raleigh reopens after fatal crash
All lanes of Wade Avenue in Raleigh have reopened following a fatal crash on Wade Avenue during the Friday morning commute, police said.
Investigators closed portions of Wade after a car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer around 7:30 a.m.
The accident occurred just east of the Interstate 440 bridge.
<span style=“font-size: 13px;”>The driver, who died at the scene, has been identified as 60-year-old Huley<span style=“font-size: 13px;”> Thomas Forest, police said.
