LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Latest on a body found in a car in Las Vegas (all times local):
Las Vegas police say a man who was found dead in a parked car had multiple gunshot wounds and appears to have been shot by a passenger.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in a statement Monday that the man was sitting in the driver’s seat of a car parked at an apartment complex when emergency responders found him.
He was pronounced dead.
Police say the man was shot by an unknown passenger and the incident appears to be drug related.
The man’s identity has not been released.
9:30 a.m. Las Vegas police are investigating after a man’s body was found in a parked car on the city’s east side Sunday afternoon.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police spokesman Lt. Brian Boxler said someone called officers to an apartment complex to report a suspicious man in a parked car.
Boxler told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that police found the man inside the car dead.
Boxler did not release the man’s identity or any other information.
