Somerset magistrate reports: April 11
The following preliminary hearings are scheduled before District Judge Ken Johnson in Somerset:
Glenn Holt Jr., 43, Highland Park Drive, Somerset, was charged April 5 with disorderly conduct and two summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 10:32 p.m. March 30 Holt was intoxicated at the Sheetz along East Main Street in Somerset Borough. Holt vomited in the back of a police cruiser, according to the affidavit. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:40 a.m. May 21.
Driving under the influence
Caleb Demars, 25, Savage Road, Salisbury, was charged April 5 with driving under the influence and two summary offenses. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 8:25 p.m. March 30 Somerset Borough police stopped a vehicle driven by Demars for multiple traffic violations along North Center Avenue. Police suspected that Demars was intoxicated. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. May 21.
