Membership fees reduced at senior center

The Watertown Senior and Community Center has cut its membership fees to half price for the remainder of the year.

Anyone age 50 and older is eligible to become a member. City resident memberships are $5 and noncity memberships are $7.50. All memberships will expire Dec. 31.

The center provides a safe place where older adults can be actively involved in recreational and educational programs as well as having access to services and benefits. Seniors can play sheepshead, bingo, euchre, 500, bridge, Wii bowling, watch movies and more.
