BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) _ Keith Lambkin and Bam Moore led six players in double figures, and Canisius went on a 22-2 tear midway through its 84-44 victory over Siena in the MAAC tournament Saturday night.

The Golden Griffins began pulling away late in the first half with a 13-2 run before scoring the first nine points after intermission. Lambkin scored 10 of his 12 points during the outburst.

Canisius went ahead by 29 points after Mike McCarthy buried three 3-pointers and a short jumper, then cruised the rest of the way. Moore also had 12 to lead the Griffs.

McCarthy and Kevin Thompson finished with 11 points and Ryan Collins and Matt Tribul added 10 for Canisius (16-11). Geoff Walker led Siena (9-18) with 13 points.

Canisius, which represented the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in the NCAA tournament last season, is the No. 2 seed and the highest still alive after top-seeded Iona lost to Fairfield.

Siena coach Bob Buyer was ejected with 18:20 remaining after objecting about a call involving a loose ball. Canisius already was in control at that point.

Siena missed 12 of its first 14 shots from the field and trailed 17-6 about 10 1/2 minutes into the game and never recovered. The Saints shot just 24 percent from the floor in the first 20 minutes.
