Jessica AnnMarie Baker, 21, Petenbrink Road, Garrett, was charged Monday with multiple counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, simple assault and harassment. State police said Baker got into an altercation with her grandparents over her children on Monday. According to police, her grandparents have full legal custody of her kids. She allegedly punched both grandparents. When police arrived they found a plastic container in her purse containing two syringes, two spoons, three empty bags containing suspected methamphetamine residue and a plastic bag of rubber hair bands, according to police. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. April 4 before District Judge Sandra L. Stevanus in New Centerville.

Mark Suter, 51, Milton, Florida, was charged Wednesday with third-degree felony receiving stolen property, third-degree felony theft by unlawful taking, felony burglary and felony conspiracy. According to a probable-cause affidavit, on Nov. 6 Suter stole more than $5,000 worth of supplies from Daniel Woy Plumbing & Heating in Somerset Borough. A preliminary hearing had yet to be scheduled Wednesday.Logan Turner, 22, Twin Hills Road, Friedens, was charged Wednesday with third-degree felony theft by unlawful taking.According to a probable-cause affidavit, between Sept. 6 and Nov. 11 Turner stole $2,759.19 from Navan Fuel along Somerset Pike in Lincoln Township. A preliminary hearing had yet to be scheduled Wednesday.
