Pair given 90 days in separate incidents
STANTON — A Stanton County teenager was ordered to spend 90 days in jail and register as a sex offender on Monday in Stanton County District Court.
Elliott Anderson, 19, Woodland Park, was sentenced to 24 months of probation and 90 days in jail following his conviction for possession of child pornography, Stanton County officials said.
Anderson was charged last year following an investigation by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Anderson was also ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and register as a sex offender for 25 years.
Also in district court on Monday, Curt Hill, 60, Stanton, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and also had his driver’s license revoked for 10 years following his conviction for an enhanced second offense-driving while ntoxicated.
Hill was arrested last year near Stanton by the sheriff’s office and was originally charged with a felony third-offense DWI.
Judge Mark Johnson presided over district court.
