Brad Paisley to perform at State Fair
Critically-acclaimed country singer Brad Paisley will perform outdoors at 7 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Nebraska State Fair.
Paisley will be joined by country artists Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell.
Chelsey Jungck, the fair’s events and entertainment director, said Paisley is an entertainer who puts on a great show.
Paisley, a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001, has earned many awards including three Grammys, two American Music awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards.
His singles include, “The World,” “Remind Me” with Carrie Underwood, “She’s Everything” and “Mud on the Tires.”
He’s written 20 of his 23 No. 1 singles, starting with his 1999 hit “He Didn’t Have to Be” as well as his most recent chart-topper, “Perfect Storm,” from the 2014 album “Moonshine in the Trunk.”
Lynch, nominated for American Country, CMT Music and Academy of Country Music awards, had four No. 1 singles on Billboard’s U.S. Country Airplay charts. They were “Where It’s At (Yep Yep),” “Hell of a Night,” “Mind Reader” and “Seein’ Red.”
Bryant’s hits include, “Little Bit of You,” “Take It On Back” and most recently, “Room to Breathe.”
Canadian country artist Ell’s singles include, “By the Way,” “Shut Me Up” and “Trippin’ on Us.”
