Gr. Lowell Tech Runs Wild, 39-0
TYNGSBORO -- Jeremy Gray and Benji Hach rushed for two touchdowns each while powering Greater Lowell Tech past Chelsea, 39-0, in a Commonwealth Athletic Conference game Friday night.
Hach finished the game with a team-high 69 yards rushing on 11 carries. Hach’s touchdowns came on a pair of five yard runs.
Gray’s touchdowns came on runs of seven and 13 yards. Gray also completed three passes for 47 yards.
GL Tech improved its record to 3-1. Chelsea is 0-4.
The Gryphons took charge early, jumping out to a 20-0 first quarter lead. Greater Lowell was up 26-0 at halftime.
Greater Lowell’s defense limited Chelsea to 1 yard rushing on 17 attempts. Chelsea was held to 39 yards of total offense.
Isaiah Carrasquillo (11 yard run) and Kyle Proulx (10 yard run) scored one touchdown apiece for Greater Lowell.
Matthew Gaudette helped spark GL’s potent ground game, rushing for 64 yards on six carries.
King Mondiere had two catches for 21 yards, while Devon Prak had a 26 yard reception.
Greater Lowell finished with 250 yards of total offense, with 203 yards coming on the ground.
