February 12, 2019 GMT

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 12, 2019--Sensu, Inc., a leader in open source monitoring, today announced the general availability of Sensu Go, a scalable, powerful and user-centric monitoring event pipeline, designed to improve visibility and streamline workflows for enterprises. Sensu empowers businesses to gain deep visibility into their infrastructure, from Kubernetes to bare metal, providing a single source of truth among application and infrastructure monitoring tools.

With a distributed architecture, updated dashboard, a newly designed API, direct support for automated and live deployment of monitoring plugins to traditional and cloud-native environments, and designed with Kubernetes in mind, Sensu Go brings an elevated level of flexibility and integration for enterprises. Sensu Go supports integration of industry standard formats, including Prometheus, StatsD and Nagios, as well as integration with enterprise products such as Splunk, Elastic, ServiceNow, Slack, InfluxDB and more.

“Sensu Go empowers businesses to automate their monitoring workflows, offering a comprehensive monitoring solution for their entire infrastructure,” said Caleb Hailey, CEO of Sensu. “This latest release features human-centered design, with an emphasis on ease of use and quick time to value.”

Sensu Go is built to scale, offering more flexibility when integrating Sensu into existing infrastructure. Notable new enterprise and open source features include:

“At NCR, it’s critical that we operate at the speed that restaurants require, so we needed a monitoring solution that would empower us to move as fast as needed,” said John Kerry, software developer with point-of-sale system provider NCR. “With Sensu Go, we have the power to build a pipeline that enables restaurants to quickly (and safely) gain intelligence into their systems. That, coupled with the fact that it’s designed with Kubernetes in mind, makes Sensu Go a perfect complement to our workflows.”
