FBI seeks 3 suspects in East Cleveland bank robbery

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The FBI and police are investigating after the robbery of a bank Tuesday morning in which a suspect put a gun to the head of a security guard, authorities say.

Two male suspects entered US Bank at 1813 Forest Hills Blvd. at 10:40 a.m., one with a handgun, according to the Cleveland division of the FBI.

While one suspect, wearing a blue surgical mask, held a gun to the guard’s head, the other suspect demanded money from a teller, who complied.

The two males then left the bank and got into a newer, black Honda Accord driven by a third male suspect. The Accord had been stolen from the Euclid area earlier in the week and was recovered two hours later.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The two suspects in the bank are described as very young, skinny and about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 inches tall.

Anyone with information can contact the FBI or the East Cleveland Police Department. A reward is available if the information leads to an arrest and conviction.
