Commercial real estate firm adding 600 St. Louis-area jobs
TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (AP) — The commercial real estate company Cushman & Wakefield is adding 600 jobs in the St. Louis area with the aid of millions of dollars in state incentives.
The company, along with Gov. Jay Nixon, made the announcement Friday. Most of the new jobs will be in the suburb Town and Country.
Cushman & Wakefield already has about 900 jobs in the region. The company plans to increase the number of workers in several areas, including accounting, human resources and information technology.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development says the company could receive more than $8.2 million in state incentives if it meets job-creation criteria.
Cushman & Wakefield is based in Chicago.
