Superintendent to provide update on national parks
Superintendent Stephen Clark, of the National Park Service, will provide an update on the Flight 93 National Memorial Tower of Voices project and other local projects during the second annual State of the Parks program.
The program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 12 in the park theater at the Johnstown Flood National Memorial in South Fork. The program will also feature information on the Friendship Hill National Historic Site, Fort Necessity National Battlefield and Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site.
Clark will also provide information on visitation trends at the five parks, share information on special events and educational programs planned for 2018, and conclude by taking questions from the audience.
