Bengals Waive Ken Blackman
CINCINNATI (AP) _ Guard Ken Blackman, sidelined all season because of a knee problem, was waived Tuesday by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Blackman was placed on the physically unable to perform list in August as he continued his attempts to come back from two knee operations.
The Bengals drafted Blackman in the third round from Illinois in 1996. He started 31 games, including the first eight in the 1998 season before hurting his left knee in a game against Denver. He had two operations, including a cartilage graft.
