Longmont Police Notes: Jewelry Heist
A theft report was received Friday from the 2200 block of Main Street in Longmont. A man was contacted who reported several pieces of jewelry were stolen from inside an apartment. Due to the lack of suspect information, the case is closed.
A theft report was received Friday from the 2300 block of Main Street. An unknown man pumped gasoline into his vehicle and left without paying for it. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.
Longmont police officers took a 29-year-old man into custody at about 7:50 a.m. Friday for an active court warrant for FTA-traffic offense.
A criminal damage report was received by Longmont police Friday from the 1500 block of Easter Court. A man was contacted who reported that the side glass was broken out of his vehicle. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.
At about 11:30 a.m. Friday , Longmont police made a pedestrian contact with a man recognized to have an outstanding warrant. He did have an outstanding felony warrant issued out of Weld County for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.
On Friday a theft report was received from the 300 block of Terry Street. A woman was contacted who reported a bike was stolen from in front of the business. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.
