Sister Bees wins Momentum 5x5 Night, $5,000 for business

Kimberly Ambrose, Amber Boerema and Kelly Bonnema of Sister Bees won $5,000 at the Momentum 5x5 Night Wednesday at Epworth Heights.

Epworth Heights hosted the event that featured five entrepreneuers giving a 5-minute business plan in a bid for $5,000 at the Epworth Auditorium.

Also giving a pitch were Rochelle Armbruster of Cosmic Canine Creatons; Carmen Biggs and Chris Turnbull of HumaniTea; Richard Young of Ludington Manufacturing; Mary Case of Mary Case’s Art Gallery.

The five entrepreneurs were judged by Lindsey Hunt Koczenasz, the head of design and production for Ledbury; John McQueeney, the owner of a FedEx contracting business; Mark Nolot, the owner of a landscaping/lawncare business called Vision Scapes; and, Mimi Stamper, a former director of marketing for the Weather Channel.
