Roundups: Business updates from Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita areas

The clothing and accessories store Dapper Darlings at Kings Harbor celebrated its first anniversary from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 13. After Hurricane Harvey, the business, which is located at 1660 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Ste. 507 in Kingwood, returned with new products and events.

The event also doubled as an announcement for Dapper Darlings’ new summer and swimsuit collections. There were also cookies from Bayou Hill Bakery and face-painting services from the neighboring Wine & Design.

Open house at First Financial Bank

The Kingwood branch of the Texas bank hosted an open-house event between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. Its address is 24080 Hwy 59 N., Ste. 100.

There was a raffle drawing with prizes such as the Google Home, its Mini version and an Amazon Echo Show. Complementary refreshments were also available.

The bank began in 1890 in Abilene, under the name Farmers and Merchants National Bank. It then took on its current name in 2005 and has 72 locations within the state.

Vessel Pilates

A boutique pilates and wellness studio held an open house between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, April 6. Its address is 21 N Main St. in Kingwood in the Town Center Park area.

Per its full class schedule, Vessel hosted two soft-open full studio circuit sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12. All classes will require booking.
