Planning commission recommends amendments to city code
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Planning Commission recommended a couple of amendments to the City Code.
During Tuesday’s meeting City Planner Val Grimes said one of the amendments relates to driveway hard surfacing requirements.
Grimes said originally 75 feet was the minimum requirement and that has been changed to 30 feet.
Chairman Dan Spray expressed support for the change and said after talking to all the parties involved, 30 feet is a good requirement.
The commissioners voted unanimously to recommend the amendments with Commissioner Matt Gilmore abstaining.
