Police: 2 injured when homemade cannon device discharged
EPPING, N.H. (AP) — Police say two men were injured when a homemade cannon device discharged at a New Hampshire home.
WMUR-TV reports that a man was trying to clean the loaded device made from a barrel of a muzzleloader rifle when it went off Saturday night at an Epping home. The man and a friend suffered foot injuries from the blast.
The two men were taken to two different hospitals. Police say the incident is under investigation.
