Waupun Police Beat 1-4 to 1-7, 2019

Traffic stop — Friday at 12:03 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Watertown Street at Shaler Drive. A 37-year-old Waupun man was cited for operating after suspension and non-registration of motor vehicle.

Traffic stop — Sunday at 9:05 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on West Brown Street at South Division Street. A 38-year-old Waupun man was taken into custody for operating after revocation, one count of felony bail jumping, and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. The man was transported to Dodge County Jail.

Suspicious activity — Monday at 8:58 a.m., police responded to a complaint of suspicious activity in the first block of West Jefferson Street. A subject stated that a vehicle had a tire flattened, gas cap missing and a windshield wiper taken off of it.

Disorderly conduct — Monday at 11:19 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of West Franklin Street in reference to a mother and son disagreement. There was no physical violence.

Juvenile problem — Monday at 3:58 p.m., police made contact with a 17-year-old juvenile at the Waupun Police Department. The juvenile stated that she was having problems with her mother. The juvenile was returned to her mother.

Welfare check — Monday at 4:10 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of East Jefferson Street in reference to a text message received about a person possibly wanting to hurt himself. While officers were at the residence the subject texted that he would not hurt himself.

Traffic Stop – Tuesday at 5:55 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of East Main Street. A 23-year-old Waupun man was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Warrant – Tuesday at 8:33 p.m. police responded to a residence in the 300 block of Grandview Avenue for a warrant pick up. A 40-year-old Waupun woman was taken into custody for a Dodge County failure to appear warrant. The woman was transported to Dodge County Jail.
