Maggie Michael has covered the Middle East for nearly 15 years focusing on Islamic militancy, post-Arab uprisings, and civil wars. She is part of an AP team that received a grant from the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting to shed light on the war in Yemen. She received several awards including The Joe and Laurie Dine Award from Overseas Press Club of America.
