Gail Staudacher, 71, of Bourbonnais, passed away Thursday (Nov. 30, 2017) at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.
She was born March 27, 1946, in Wyandotte, Mich., the daughter of Robert W. and Dorothy St. Helen Clarke. Gail married Marvin Lemar Staudacher on Aug. 13, 1966, in Park Forrest. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2001.
Gail worked at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital’s coffee shop. She enjoyed working at Seconds to Go and Mrs. Marty’s of Marty’s R.C. She also liked knitting.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Jim Miller, of Joliet; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lauren and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Grace and Taylor; one sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Gene Walker, of Steger; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Joy Clarke, of Portland, Ore., and Victor and Lauren Clarke, of Portland, Ore.; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the 7 p.m. memorial service at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate. Procession to the cemetery will leave from Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for the 10:30 a.m. inurnment in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Foundation.
