It’s his birthday

Renowned talk show host Larry King was born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger on Nov. 19, 1933. The Brooklyn native is 85 today.

He still is active

King left the CNN television cable network in 2010 but hosts Larry King Now, an online series available on Hulu and RT America.

Once an NFL voice

In the 1970s, King worked as a color commentator on Miami Dolphins games for WIOD radio.

Long stay at CNN

King hosted “Larry King Live” on CNN for 25 years beginning in 1985. He won numerous awards during his tenure there.

King has been married eight times in his life. He has been with his current spouse, Shawn Southwick, since 1997.
