National Enquirer Runs Photo of Topless Simpson Prosecutor

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ The National Enquirer ran a photograph Monday of O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark sunbathing topless in 1979 on a French beach.

The photo appears with a black censor bar across Clark’s breasts.

It shows Clark with then-husband Gabby Horowitz during a vacation in St. Tropez.

The supermarket tabloid said the photo was given to the Enquirer by Horowitz’s mother, Clara Horowitz of Tel Aviv.

Suzanne Childs, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, had no comment.

Steve Coz, the Enquirer’s celebrity news editor, said the picture and other photos published with it show Clark’s ``fun-loving, wild side.″

``It’s a shocking picture. You have a long-haired, more rebellious type look compared with what we’re used to seeing,″ he said.

The 41-year-old deputy district attorney has been married and divorced twice.
