Kansas mobile home death investigated as homicide
MCPHERSON, Kan. (AP) — A McPherson woman was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and related charges after a man was found dead earlier this week.
Tina Nicole Brown, 33, was charged in the death of Kelly Peterson, 63, whose body was found Monday in his mobile home in McPherson.
Attorney General Derek Schmidt said Brown was also charged with felony mistreatment of an elder person and misdemeanor battery of a law enforcement officer.
Bond was set at $500,000 and her first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
The attorney general’s office took over prosecution of the case at the request of the McPherson County Attorney.
