Members of local AARP chapter meet with residents of Calhoun Health Care Center

Some members of the local American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) chapter 3178 met with residents of the Calhoun Health Care Center in Calhoun on March 13. AARP members surprised all the residents with early Easter cards and decorative AARP Easter eggs. The AARP members entertained the residents with Easter and spring messages.

The AARP members are setting goals for the local chapter that uphold the state and national goals of AARP. All chapters are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all as we age. The local chapter of AARP purses these goals through advocacy led by the state office.

There are real possibilities with AARP. Please join and support your local chapter. AARP meets at 10:30 a.m. the first Friday of each month at the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.
