Police: Worker dies after touching live wire

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A man was killed Wednesday when he touched a live power line while doing repairs at a Florida home, authorities said.

Jose Antonio Blanco, 45, was using a hydraulic lift when he accidentally came into contact with the live TECO wire, Tampa police told news outlets.

Blanco died at the scene.
