Humble High Alumni Association celebrates 85 years
The Humble High School Alumni Association plans to celebrate 85 years at the Humble Civic Center on June 10 at 6 p.m.
Themed “A Time to Remember,” the event includes a night of dancing, food and live music performed by Dion Pride, Charlie Pride and The Larry Butler Band featuring Joey Butler and Bill Moak.
Dinner is provided by Demeris Catering and is included with an admission fee of $35 and a discounted rate for those over 65. Admission for the concert alone is $20 and begins at 8:30 p.m.
“This unique group gathers every year on the second Saturday of June to continue a tradition that few communities can match,” said Allan Griffin, president of Humble High Alumni Association.
Tickets can be purchased online at https://humbleisdef.ejoinme.org/hhsalumni2017 or in person at the Humble Civic Center on Wednesday and Thursday, June 7-8, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
A few items will be live auctioned, including a painting by artist Gary Tuttle, who is a member of the class of 1966.
